Well clearly then I must be more superior than the internet?
Even it it sucks, I know I'll be watching that Cowboy Bebop movie in theaters.
But I have hope that if they cast Ein right, it might just be able to pull through with it. :P
Every time I hear there's going to be a Hollywood live action adaptation of an anime I always get excited even though I know it's probably going to fall through or be really crappy. I need to have false hopes in these things otherwise all I'd be left with is an uncomfortable feeling of despair.
I think that someone needs to do like a Bollywood adaptation of anime. And then my life would be more complete.

I appreciate the vote, it gives me false hope that I do indeed do not have poor taste in shows.
Isn't there a statute of limitations for these types of shows in regards to spoilers? :P

Oh well, I changed it so that spoiler is only spoiler if link is clicked. But seriously, despite whatever serious mood I was in when watching that show, when it was revealed what his true nature was I desperately wanted to laugh out loud a bit.
When I found out Satoshi Nishimura wasn't going to be directing the new season of Hajime no Ippo I was very sad but then I found out the reason was because of a supposed Trigun movie, I was like "oh that's pretty awesome too." :D

Sadly I've not had the chance to experience a Canadian social studies class.

Hahaha... Those tend to go completely over my head. Even after I Google them sometimes. Must be a Canadian thing. :P

I know! For some strange reason every time I see Napoleon eating a cookie I break down in laughter.

Why thank you ma'am. I just have to say I'm a sucker for a fellow Radiohead fan. Particularly the _good_ Radiohead stuff! The fact that you are a fan of the Akira soundtrack just makes you a legend in my book.

Cheers for the votes lil lady.

It was ridiculously easier than I thought. I simply walked into one of those comic book shops and placed an order. And bam! The next week I had volume one of those coveted hard cover Black Jack books.

Probably totally worth it for the creepy German siamese twins or something story.

I've yet to come across a Vertical release I didn't like but I don't think I can rest easy until I own that hardcover edition. I guess that means I have to go to the comic book store or something. *shiver*

I'm glad my mostly useless information might be put to good use.
Good luck in your quest for cake! In case a reprint doesn't offer any it might be a good idea to have some on hand while reading.

I'm not sure how things work in Canada but if you can order them online they aren't that hard to find. I see several copies on Amazon. Additionally you can buy them at DMP's website (www.akadot.com). Or if you decide to be adventurous you can also buy them real cheap at www.yaoiclub.com which is also part of DMP. But they don't have volume one, nor do they have free shipping...

Anyway, that's where I got my copies of them minus the first one. If they do offer a reprint I wonder if the scratch and sniff thing would still be continued...

Bleh, it's not even really yaoi. I was totally excited for several weeks when I first found out there was going to be an anime but when I actually watched it I was completely underwhelmed. However, if the fangirls like it enough to create a greater demand for Fumi Yoshinaga's work, I don't mind that much...
